JDA Customers,

 

Due to the fact that, Jupe de Abby works with a number of different manufacturers, the sizing of all of our skirts may vary slightly.  As a modest company, our goal is to help each customer make the correct selection when purchasing on our site. We acknowledge that we were all fearfully and wonderfully made and we understand that everyone's body structure is different.

 

For this reason we are currently updating our website with better descriptions for each item on our site. We have decided to create individual size charts for each item so you can better select what will work for you. We encourage all of customers to review each individual size chart before purchasing to avoid any need to return.

How to measure:

 

1. Take a skirt that that you currently own and lay it flat.

2. Use a measuring tap to measure the waist (the very top part of the skirt) then multiple that number by 2, to get your waist measurement.

​

3.For hip measurements, measure appx 8-9 inches down from the waist to reach to your hips point. Then from that point measure the flat skirt straight across. Double that measurement as well to get your all around hip measurement.

Recommendations:

​

   1.We DO NOT encourage our customers to measure themselves for accurate comparison to our measurements, because we understand that once a body inside of a skirt or any type of clothing, it stretches that item out and the measurement for individuals with different body types can differ.

​

   2.If when reviewing a product's size chart, you're in between sizes, we encourage you to use discretion. Our recommendation would be to get the item closes to your hip measurement. We understand that the waist may be a little big but usually that can be altered. If you choose to go with a size that is closer  to your waist measurement, please understand that the skirt may be tight on the hips and may not give you the modest look you were hoping for.

   3. Please understand measurements can differ +.5 inches to -.5 inches.
