My name is Abigail Soto, but most people call me Abby and I am the owner of Jupe de Abby. I'm 23 years old and I currently graduated with my Associates degree in Business Administration now going for my Bachelors! During the course of 2010, I found myself in a point in my lifewhere I was confused, lost and uncertain in who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. I was always use to having a plan, getting good grades and succeeding in whatever I put my mind to do, but things in my life just weren’t the same anymore. I felt so distant from God and felt as if he had abandon me.
One day I prayed in my room and I remember promising the Lord (like we all do) “ If you take away this pain that I feel I PROMISE
I'll do whatever you ask me to do.” Serving a God that responds and always comes on time, he began to minister in my life in a special way, a way that has transformed my life forever. I became very active in my church and in the calling that he has placed me in. The Lord began to call me in leadership within my church, including becoming a Sunday School teacher.
He then began to call me to preach more in my church, services out in the streets and other churches. Always remembering that promise I made him and the gratitude I felt for what he had done in my life I could never find the way to say no. I had just started college and was majoring in dental hygiene but I was struggling in my studies. (maybe it was because I disliked science ALOT!!! Lol) So, I finally asked the Lord "Ok, God what is it that you want me to do?"
A very special gift that he deposited in my heart was Jupe and it has brought such a satisfying joy in my life. Through this ministry I have been able to find the Abby God has called me to be. The blessings and many doors that God has opened are countless. Doing God's will and being able to bless others through Jupe, I say it is an honor and I encourage anyone who is searching for a fulfilling purpose in their life to tell God " I just want to be right where you want me to be".
Surrender yourself completely to him, recongnizing just as I did "My life is not my own" and you too will experience that joy that only the Lord can give. Succeeding in life is great but always remember to glorify God in ALL that you do! My prayer is that through Jupe EVERY customer’s life is blessed!
